Mission: The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen exists to promote the rights, interest and safety of its members through solidarity, aggressive representation and education.
CN/Wisconsin Central General Committee of Adjustment The purpose of this General Committee of Adjustment is to further the interest of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen within the jurisdiction of this Committee, to administer the problems that arise in connection with working conditions, wages, welfare and financial interest of this Committee and the respective Division Members thereof, as prescribed by the Constitution and Bylaws of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (IBT), ever mindful and guarding the cardinal principles upon which the Brotherhood was founded, justice, truth, morality and sobriety.
History: The Wisconsin Central General Committee of Adjustment is a relatively new Committee within the Brotherhood, established on December 4, 1997 in Appleton, Wisconsin.
On April 18th & 19th, 2012, the General Committee's of CN/Wisconsin Central, Duluth, Winnipeg & Pacific (UTU) and the Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range formally merged into one Committee.
